Domain Name Agreement

This Domain Name Agreement (“Terms” or “Agreement”) governs your use of domain name services provided by Rocket Domains Ltd. (“Rocket Domains,” “us,” “our”) acting as a reseller, including, but not limited to, domain name registration, transfer, and ID protection services (“Services”). The terms “you,” “your,” or “customer” refer to any individual or entity that accepts this Agreement electronically or uses the Services.

This Agreement is an integral part of the Rocket Domains Terms of Service (“TOS”). Together with our other agreements, ICANN’s Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (Appendix A), and applicable Registry policies, these documents constitute the entire agreement between you and Rocket Domains regarding your use of the Services.

By purchasing or using a Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. Rocket Domains is not responsible for domain names associated with our Services that are not actively managed through us (i.e., not registered through or transferred to Rocket Domains).

1. Domain Name Registration and Management

1.1. You may request the registration of a top-level domain (“TLD”), such as a generic TLD (“gTLD”) or a country-code TLD (“ccTLD”), by submitting an Order to Rocket Domains. We cannot guarantee that a requested domain name is available or can be successfully registered at the time of your order. You should not consider a domain registered until we send you formal notification of successful registration.

1.2. Domain registration and use are subject to the relevant Registrar/Registry’s terms and conditions, which are incorporated by reference. In the event of a discrepancy between this Agreement and the Registrar/Registry’s terms, the latter shall prevail. Rocket Domains bears no responsibility if a Registrar or Registry refuses to register a domain name.

1.3. Domains registered or transferred through Rocket Domains may be managed via your Mission Control dashboard.

1.4. Domain names and related services are subject to the renewal and termination policies set out in the Rocket Domains TOS. Domain registration and renewal fees are non-refundable. Maximum renewal periods and renewal fees for expired domains vary according to the specific Registry’s rules and the Registrar of record.

2. Registrant Information

2.1. During the registration process, you must provide certain information, which we will process in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By submitting an Order for registration or renewal, you represent and warrant that all provided information and documentation is true, complete, correct, not misleading, and submitted in good faith. You further warrant that you meet, and will continue to meet, any eligibility criteria prescribed by the relevant Registry policies.

2.2. If you provide information regarding a third party, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that party to these Terms and have obtained their explicit consent for the disclosure and use of their information as described in our Privacy Policy.

2.3. Certain Registries require verification of contact information after registration or modification. If this applies to your domain, Rocket Domains or the Registrar of record will send you instructions via email. Failure to confirm your details within the specified timeframe may result in the suspension or deletion of your domain and disruption of associated services. You are responsible for following these instructions to maintain your registration.

2.4. You acknowledge that renewal requirements may change. If you fail to provide updated information required for renewal, the registration will not be renewed.

2.5. The information you provide identifies the domain name holder (registrant). For non-expired domains registered through Rocket Domains, you may update this information via the Mission Control dashboard, subject to availability and Registry requirements. A domain name registration grants you an exclusive right to use the domain for a specific duration; it confers no proprietary ownership rights.

2.6. You are solely responsible for providing accurate, current, and complete contact information. We are not liable for any cancellation or refusal to renew a domain due to your failure to maintain such information. You are responsible for all changes made to contact details via the Rocket Domains dashboard.

2.7. Providing inaccurate information, failing to update your contact details, or failing to respond to inquiries regarding the accuracy of your details within the required timeframe constitutes a violation of these Terms and may result in the suspension or termination of your Services.

3. Collection and Use of Registration Information

3.1. By registering or transferring a domain through Rocket Domains, you agree that the Registrar of record, the Registry, or ICANN may establish requirements regarding the information we must collect from you and how that information may be used.

3.2. You acknowledge and agree that Rocket Domains will disclose your registration information to ICANN, the Registrar, the Registry, and other third parties as required or permitted by ICANN and applicable law. You hereby provide explicit consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of this information as set forth in this Agreement.

4. Domain Transfers (Registrar)

4.1. You may change the Registrar of record for an existing domain in accordance with the relevant Registry’s transfer policy. Only the party listed as the registrant (“Domain Name Holder”) may initiate a transfer to Rocket Domains. By purchasing transfer services, you warrant that you are the Domain Name Holder or have been duly authorized by them to initiate the transfer.

4.2. We may require additional documentation to confirm your status as the Domain Name Holder before or after a transfer request. If the Registrant of record is changing, we may require proof of authorization, such as a bilateral agreement, a court order, or a binding dispute resolution decision.

4.3. Upon successful completion of a transfer request, our Registrar will immediately become the Registrar of record.

4.4. All transfers are subject to the terms of the respective Registry. Rocket Domains is not responsible for transfer failures caused by a domain not meeting a Registry’s specific requirements.

5. ID Protect Services

5.1. If selected in your Order and subject to availability, we provide private domain registration services (“ID Protect”). You acknowledge that this service is provided by the respective Registrar; Rocket Domains is not liable for any mistaken disclosure of your identity.

5.2. By purchasing ID Protect, you agree that: (i) your use must comply with the Rocket Domains TOS; (ii) you remain responsible for maintaining accurate contact information; (iii) you will not use the service to evade legal, registry, or ICANN requirements; and (iv) you will immediately respond to any notices we or the Registrar forward to you.

6. Customer Responsibility and Disputes

6.1. You are solely responsible for: (i) managing your domain in compliance with this Agreement and our TOS; (ii) providing any requested documentation; and (iii) monitoring notifications sent to the administrative email address associated with your Customer Account and your domain. Failure to do so may result in service suspension or termination.

6.2. Disputes between you and a third party must be resolved between the involved parties. Rocket Domains will not participate in or facilitate dispute resolution. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to delete a domain, disable automatic renewal, or make representations to the Registrar or Registry upon becoming aware of a dispute. Domain disputes are governed by ICANN’s Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP), which is an integral part of this Agreement. For ccTLDs, you are also bound by the policies of the relevant ccTLD authority.

This Domain Name Agreement may be modified in accordance with the provisions set out in our TOS.
