1. Traditional domain registrations
Domain name registrations, transfers and renewals are subject to the rules of ICANN where applicable, the relevant registry, registrar, registry service provider, dispute-resolution provider, applicable law and the applicable order.
For domain registrations fulfilled through registrars, registry operators or reseller platforms, the sponsoring registrar, registry or relevant registry service provider may be identified through the applicable RDAP/registration-data lookup record, the applicable registry/registrar process, the order/dashboard where displayed, or by contacting Rocket Domains at legal@rocket.domains. Rocket Domains is not required to publish backend registrar or registry-service-provider names on every general Terms page unless required by law, ICANN policy, registry policy or a specific product/order flow.
A domain registration is a limited contractual right to use the domain for the registration period, not ownership of property in the domain. Registration is not guaranteed until confirmed by the registry/registrar. We are not responsible for registry/registrar rejection, premium pricing, policy restrictions, reserved names, local-presence rules, verification failure, payment failure, technical failure, registry downtime, WHOIS/RDAP changes, domain disputes, trademark claims, law enforcement action or registry cancellation.
You are responsible for selecting lawful domains, checking rights, avoiding infringement, maintaining accurate registrant data, renewing on time, monitoring expiry, maintaining payment details, complying with UDRP/URS/local dispute policies and responding to validation or abuse requests. We do not vet domains for trademark, passing-off, unfair competition, defamation, regulatory, advertising or consumer-law compliance.
2. Domain data, verification and disclosure
Domain registration may require disclosure of registrant, technical, administrative, billing, DNS, verification and identity data to registries, registrars, registry service providers, escrow agents, ICANN, dispute providers, law enforcement, courts, regulators, payment providers and legitimate requestors. Some data may be published in WHOIS/RDAP or disclosed under registry/registrar procedures, despite privacy masking, where required or permitted by policy or law.
We may require identity verification, proof of address, company documents, beneficial ownership evidence, domain authority evidence, trademark evidence, payment verification, local presence evidence, trustee/local-agent consent or other documents. Failure to provide documents may result in refusal, suspension, lock, deletion, non-renewal or termination.
3. Expiry, renewal, redemption and transfers
Domain expiry and redemption rules vary by TLD, registry and registrar. A domain may stop resolving, be parked, be placed on hold, enter redemption, incur restoration fees, be auctioned, be released, be re-registered by another party, lose bundled services, lose DNS settings or become unrecoverable if not renewed on time. Renewal reminders are a courtesy only.
We may refuse transfer, renewal or change requests where fees are unpaid, identity is unverified, a dispute or legal hold exists, the request appears fraudulent, the domain is locked, registry rules restrict the action, the service is suspended, or the account is in breach.
4. Designated Agent and authorised representative for domain services
Where permitted by applicable ICANN, registry, registrar, ccTLD, reseller-platform, dispute-resolution, court, regulator or other domain-policy rules, you authorise Rocket Domains to act as your Designated Agent, authorised representative and technical/administrative service provider for the limited purpose of requesting, approving, confirming, implementing, declining, correcting, protecting, renewing, transferring, locking, unlocking, cancelling, deleting, restoring, recovering, administering or otherwise carrying out domain-related actions that you request, authorise, initiate through your account, ask us to perform, or that are reasonably required to provide, protect, secure, maintain or administer your domain services.
This authority may include, without limitation, domain registrations, renewals, transfer-ins, transfer-outs, registrar changes, registrant/contact updates, change-of-registrant approvals, transfer-lock or unlock decisions, auth-code or EPP-code handling, DNS and name-server changes, WHOIS/RDAP updates, verification steps, registrar, registry or ICANN-related communications, cancellation, deletion, redemption, restoration, dispute-response, abuse-response, security, fraud-prevention, compliance and recovery actions.
You agree that actions taken by Rocket Domains as your Designated Agent or authorised representative may, where permitted, satisfy consent, confirmation, authorisation, approval, instruction or acknowledgement requirements under applicable domain policies, including change-of-registrant, transfer, lock, recovery or verification procedures. You remain responsible for ensuring that every domain instruction, registrant/contact detail, account instruction and supporting document is accurate, lawful, current and authorised, and you will indemnify the Rocket Protected Parties for claims, losses or disputes arising from inaccurate data, unauthorised instructions, disputed authority, account compromise, domain disputes or your failure to maintain required approvals.
Rocket Domains may refuse, delay, reverse, suspend, lock, unlock, escalate, verify, cancel or decline any domain action where required or permitted by law, registry policy, registrar policy, ICANN policy, ccTLD policy, dispute process, court order, regulator request, abuse report, fraud-prevention concern, sanctions concern, security risk, nonpayment, expired service, identity concern, conflicting instruction or these Terms. Nothing in this clause requires Rocket Domains to act contrary to applicable law or policy, to override any transfer, lock, verification, notice, consent, court, registry, registrar, ICANN, ccTLD or dispute process that cannot lawfully be delegated, or to prevent a lawful transfer where applicable policy requires transfer to be permitted.
5. Rocket Registry and speakable domains
Rocket Domains may offer proprietary, modern, speakable, real-time, application-layer, registry-like, DNS, subdomain, namespace, routed, branded, alternative or other naming services. Unless expressly stated in writing, such naming services are contractual rights of use within the Rocket ecosystem or supported technical environment and may not be ICANN-accredited TLD registrations or universally resolvable DNS domains.
We do not guarantee that a speakable domain or proprietary name will resolve in every browser, device, network, resolver, search engine, AI assistant, voice assistant, app, email client or jurisdiction. We do not guarantee traffic, search ranking, brand value, memorability, AI recognition, voice recognition, resale value, availability, exclusivity, permanence or interoperability.
We may reserve, block, premium-price, allocate, refuse, suspend, revoke, modify, migrate or retire names to protect technical stability, legal compliance, rights, security, reputation, language integrity, public interest, registry integrity, upstream obligations or the Rocket ecosystem. Fees may be non-refundable where a name is refused or revoked due to breach, inaccurate information, infringement, abuse, prohibited use or failure to complete verification.
6. Sentientics Living Domains
Sentientics Living Domains are not ordinary inventory-based domain registrations. They are application-based, stewardship-based and protocol-governed naming grants connected with the Sentientics framework, the Wahlah Sentientic Resonance Index and the seven-phase qualification protocol.
A Living Domain cannot be demanded merely because it appears technically possible, commercially attractive, unregistered or paid for. Applications may be accepted, refused, deferred, conditioned, revoked, retired or re-evaluated according to Sentientics protocols, stewardship standards, language integrity, ethical criteria, brand legitimacy, human-centredness, legal risk, rights conflicts, technical feasibility and the continuing relationship the applicant claims to perform.
Application fees, review fees and stewardship contributions are not registrar prices and may be non-refundable unless expressly stated. They support evaluation, stewardship, legal defence, catalogue integrity, framework development and the care of the commons. No applicant acquires ownership of the verb, the Sentient, the framework, the catalogue, the algorithm, the protocol, the extension or the underlying language.
A granted Living Domain is a conditional right of use for the admitted brand and admitted relationship. It may not be sold, transferred, assigned, sublicensed, speculated on, warehoused, pledged, misrepresented or used for a different brand, relationship, product, purpose, entity or conduct without written consent. Continued use may require ongoing stewardship compliance, accurate brand identity, lawful conduct, truthful performance of the named relationship and respect for the human-centred principles of the framework. Rocket Domains and Sentientics disclaim liability for refusal, delay, revocation, non-resolution, non-recognition by third-party systems, lack of traffic, lack of conversion, lack of AI/voice/search recognition, brand disputes, claims by third parties, or the customer’s failure to perform the relationship named by a Living Domain.
7. Parking pages, brokerage and information cards.
Where a domain is registered, parked, reserved, expired, suspended, unconfigured, using default DNS/name servers, using a Rocket Domains free parking or holding page, or otherwise not actively configured by you to resolve to your own website or service, Rocket Domains may display a default page, holding page, parking page, renewal notice, suspension notice, marketplace notice, search page, informational page, promotional content, advertising, sponsored links, affiliate links or other content selected by Rocket Domains or its service providers.
You acknowledge that such pages may be generated automatically and may include domain search, Rocket’s product cards, information and links, domain name search, third party information cards (non tracking) or links, whether or not based on domain strings, keywords, categories, location, browser language, commercial feeds or other technical factors. Rocket Domains does not guarantee the availability, content, ranking, relevance, accuracy, revenue, suitability or lawfulness of any parking-page content for your particular domain or business.
Unless expressly agreed in writing, Rocket Domains is entitled to retain any revenue, credits, commission, benefit or data arising from such parking pages, advertising, sponsored links, marketplace links or promotional content. You must not rely on any parked, expired, suspended, default or unconfigured domain as an active website, email service, emergency service, legally mandated notice system or business-critical service.
You are responsible for configuring DNS, name servers, forwarding, website hosting, email routing and other domain settings correctly. Rocket Domains may set, amend and update DNS records, if none has been set by you, remove, alter, replace, disable or redirect parking/default pages at any time, including for legal, security, abuse, registry, registrar, supplier, reputational, operational or policy reasons. Nothing in this clause limits any non-excludable consumer or data protection rights.
