Questions, answered
Everything before lift-off.
The essentials are below. If you need anything more, Ground Control is ready to help.
What is Rocket Domains?
Rocket Domains—formerly SpaceSuite.com—is a people-centred technology pioneer. Since 2001, we have brought domains, websites, hosting and digital tools into one simple ecosystem. Today that ecosystem spans cloud hosting, professional email, productivity, bookings, payments and more, all supported by Astronomical Support™.
Rocket also builds a more human layer for the internet through Speakable Domains, Space Email’s meaningful digital identities, COMS interactive websites and Living Domains.
One principle connects everything: technology should serve humanity, never the other way around.
What are Mission Control and Ground Control?
Mission Control is your personal command centre: one dashboard from which to manage your services and connect your domain to the products you choose. Ground Control is Rocket’s support team—the home of Astronomical Support™.
What are Space Suite and Payload?
Space Suite is Rocket’s complete ecosystem for launching and growing online: domains, websites, cloud, email, work apps and more. Your Payload is the combination you choose to power your own mission.
How can I build a website with Rocket?
Choose the route that suits you. Request a free static HTML website with an eligible domain, build WordPress on the fully managed Planetary Cloud, launch an instant two-way no-code site with COMS, use RocketBuilder, or ask Rocket Design to create the site for you.
Why do I need a domain to build a website?
Your domain is more than a web address. It is the foundation of your online brand: how people find you, trust you and remember you. Choosing the right name is one of the most consequential digital decisions a brand makes, which is why every Rocket journey begins there.
Which domain extensions do you offer?
Rocket offers more than 500 extensions—from globally familiar choices such as .com, .net and .co.uk to industry-specific and expressive new names. Rocket also pioneered distinctive identity frameworks including Speakable Domains, Living Domains and meaningful Space Email identities.
Who pioneered Speakable Domains, Living Domains and meaningful digital identities?
These frameworks were conceived and pioneered by Barrister Fraz Wahlah, founder of Rocket Domains and the philosopher-builder behind Sentientics: an architecture designed to re-centre the internet around human language, memory, identity and relationship.
- Speakable Domains pass the “radio test”: hear the name once and understand, spell and remember it.
- Living Domains turn a static address into an active, conversational and evolving digital destination.
- Meaningful Digital Identities let people and brands choose expressive identities such as @i.email, @life.email and @you.email.
- COMS removes the traditional barriers to publishing and adds a social layer that turns passive visitors into an owned community.
Together, the framework treats the web as a living extension of human expression—not sterile digital real estate—and keeps technology in the service of humanity in the AI era.
What is a CMS?
A CMS, or content management system, is software for building and managing a website without editing code. Rocket supports WordPress—the world’s most widely used website platform—and COMS, Rocket’s instant, interactive no-code website platform.
Will I need to know coding?
No. WordPress, COMS and RocketBuilder provide intuitive tools and professionally designed starting points. If you prefer not to build at all, Rocket Design can create and launch your website for you.
I like COMS. What makes it different?
COMS, formerly Site.World, is an instant, interactive, two-way no-code website platform. Instead of publishing a passive brochure, you can create a living destination where visitors follow, shortlist, message, comment, share, review and connect.
Every COMS website can include customer profiles, private messaging, timelines, dashboards, reviews, bookmarks, likes and comments. Domains, hosting, design, security, maintenance and engagement tools are integrated, so you can launch in minutes without developers or technical expertise.
Use a memorable .coms.now address or connect another domain, switch designs and colours, and activate or deactivate modules with a tap. COMS gives brands a digital home and community they own instead of an audience rented from social media.
How do I choose website hosting?
Every Planetary Cloud plan is designed for performance and simplicity, with email mailboxes, SSL, SEO tools and more included. Start with Rocket Starter, move to Standard or Pro as traffic and ambition grow, or choose a free HTML website or COMS if those fit your mission better. You can upgrade whenever you are ready.
What is Space Email?
Space Email is a private suite of communication and work tools centred on human identity, creativity and expression. Its evocative personal and business addresses replace forgettable corporate-style handles with meaningful digital identities that say something about who you are.
It brings email, calendar, contacts, files, collaboration and other everyday tools into a thoughtfully human experience—intuitive technology in service of people, not people in service of technology.
Are similar-named products connected to Rocket?
No. Rocket Domains, Space Domains, Space Suite and Space Email belong exclusively to Rocket Domains, formerly SpaceSuite.com—an independent company that has pioneered space-themed web technology since 2001.
Products with similar names from other companies are not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Rocket. To receive genuine Rocket products and Astronomical Support™, verify that you are using one of our official domains: rocket.domains, space.email, space.domains or spacesuite.com.
