Master Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Terms explain how customers may use Rocket Domains products and services. We have written them to be clear, practical and fair while protecting the reliability, security and lawful operation of the Rocket Domains platform for all users.

By creating an account, placing an order, clicking acceptance, paying an invoice, accessing a control panel, renewing a service, using any Rocket Domains service, or allowing any user under your account to use a service, you agree to these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, the Privacy Policy, the applicable product schedule, any order form, any data processing terms, any registry/registrar rule, and any third-party service terms that apply to the relevant service.

If you accept these Terms for a company, organisation or other legal entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity. If you do not have that authority, you are personally responsible for the obligations created by your acceptance and use.

2. Who we are

“Rocket Domains”, “Rocket”, “Space Domains”, “Space Email”, “Spacesuite.com”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Rocket Domains Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 11431904, with registered office at 201 Reservoir Rd, B29, and any Rocket Domains affiliate, group company or trading name identified in an order, product page or service notice.

“Customer”, “you” and “your” mean the account holder, registrant, subscriber, administrator, reseller, organisation, end user or other person using or ordering the services, including anyone who accesses the services through your account, credentials, domain, website, workspace, booking portal, email mailbox, DNS settings, API key or reseller/sub-account.

3. Services covered now and in the future

These Terms apply to all products and services provided, resold, supported, bundled, white-labelled, integrated, configured, hosted, licensed, enabled or made available by Rocket Domains now or in the future, whether paid, free, trial, beta, promotional, bundled or included with another service.

Covered services include, without limitation: domain registration, transfer and renewal; DNS and CDN services; Rocket Registry services; speakable domains; Sentientics Living Domains; Planetary Cloud Web Hosting; Planetary CDN; Planetary Email; Orbit Email; Space Email; Rocket Email; Rocket Workspace; customer-facing workspace/app-suite services; COMS no-code websites and design tools; Calendable booking portals/apps; email, mailbox and collaboration services; backups and restore services; malware scanning and security services; SEO, analytics, ecommerce, AI-assisted and website tools; support, migration, configuration, consultancy and related technology services. Where a service is sold under a third-party brand, the relevant third-party terms also apply as described below.

A service name includes rebrands, replacements, successors, add-ons, APIs, control panels, bundled features, free tiers, pilot features, trials and any future service that is reasonably connected with domains, hosting, email, workspace, websites, communications, booking, security, data, AI, search, discovery, registry or digital presence.

4. Protected Parties

“Rocket Protected Parties” means Rocket Domains and its present and future affiliates, parent companies, subsidiaries, group companies, brands, trading names, officers, directors, shareholders, members, managers, employees, contractors, subcontractors, processors, subprocessors, consultants, agents, representatives, advisers, lawyers, insurers, auditors, licensors, suppliers, partners, resellers, distributors, payment processors, registrars, registries, registry service providers, back-end registry providers, DNS/CDN/security/backup/email/cloud/data-centre/telecommunications providers, third-party application providers, successors and assigns.

The Rocket Protected Parties may rely on all disclaimers, exclusions, indemnities, limitations of liability, defence rights, suspension rights, termination rights and enforcement rights in these Terms to the fullest extent permitted by law, including under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 where applicable.

5. Account registration, identity and authority

You must provide accurate, current, complete and truthful information when signing up, ordering, renewing, transferring, configuring or using services. This includes your real legal name, organisation name, postal address, billing address, telephone number, email address, applicable tax or business registration information where required for billing or compliance, domain registrant information, payment information, authority to act for the domain/website/organisation, and any documents reasonably requested for verification.

You must not use false, misleading, incomplete, disposable or impersonated identity information. You must not hide behind fake details, impersonate another person or organisation, misstate your authority, use another person’s payment method without permission, or register services for an unlawful nominee, proxy, sanction target, prohibited person or undisclosed beneficiary.

We may request identity, authority, address, payment, corporate, domain ownership, trustee/local-presence, beneficial ownership, fraud-prevention or compliance evidence at any time. Failure to provide evidence, or providing inaccurate or misleading evidence, is a material breach and may result in refusal, suspension, lock, transfer restriction, cancellation or termination without refund, where lawful.

For domain registrations, you must keep registrant data accurate and respond promptly to validation, verification and abuse inquiries. Where ICANN, a registry, registrar, government authority, court, law enforcement agency or dispute-resolution provider requires a response within a specified period, you must respond within that period and in any event within 15 days of our request unless a shorter lawful deadline applies.

For high value deals and transactions, you explicitly consent to the secure sharing of identity and source-of-funds verification data with our clearing bank partners solely for the purpose of transaction settlement and compliance verification.

6. Security responsibilities: passwords, 2FA and backups

You are responsible for all activity under your account, domains, mailboxes, websites, workspaces, admin panels, DNS zones, booking portals, APIs, FTP/SFTP/SSH credentials, OAuth tokens, payment methods and any connected services, whether the activity is carried out by you, your staff, your contractors, your users, your customers, your agents, your resellers, an authorised administrator, an unauthorised person, malware, a compromised device, a compromised plugin, a compromised mailbox or anyone else who gains access through your systems, credentials, configuration, code, devices, content, permissions or failure to secure them.

You must use strong, unique passwords; enable two-factor or multi-factor authentication wherever available; restrict administrator access to trusted and trained personnel; remove users who no longer need access; rotate credentials after staff changes or suspected compromise; protect API keys, SSH keys, OAuth tokens, private keys and recovery codes; keep operating systems, CMS platforms, plugins, themes, libraries, scripts, forms, booking widgets and ecommerce components patched; scan for malware; maintain endpoint security; configure DNS, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, HTTPS/TLS, WAF/firewall, access controls and logging appropriately; and promptly investigate and remediate suspicious activity.

You are responsible for maintaining independent, current, restorable and tested backups of all websites, databases, code, files, emails, calendars, contacts, booking data, customer lists, DNS settings, workspace data, content, configurations, licences, keys, compliance records and other data that are important to you. You should export and verify backups before cancellation, migration, downgrade, non-renewal, plan change, domain transfer, support intervention, major website change, plugin/theme update, malware cleanup, account closure or suspected compromise.

Any backup, restore, snapshot, archive, malware-cleanup, rollback or recovery service we provide is an additional convenience, not a guarantee. Backups may be incomplete, unavailable, corrupted, overwritten, incompatible, delayed, deleted, technically unrestorable, outside the retention window, subject to upstream-provider limits, or unavailable after suspension, termination, nonpayment, plan downgrade, prohibited use or legal action. You accept that data loss, erasure, corruption, compromise and restoration failure are inherent risks of digital services and remain responsible for your own backup and continuity arrangements.

7. Orders, plans, trials, free tiers, terms, and renewals

Service descriptions, plan limits, storage, bandwidth, mailbox capacity, CPU/memory usage, number of users, number of domains, email sending limits, backup retention, support level, renewal price, promotional credits and included features are as stated on the applicable order page, invoice, control panel or product schedule at the time of order, as updated for renewals.

Free, bundled, promotional, beta, pilot and trial services are provided at our discretion and may be modified, downgraded, limited, suspended or discontinued at any time. We may require upgrade to a paid plan to continue use. Unless required by law, free services carry no refund right and no monetary service credit.

Many services renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal deadline. Domain names and third-party licences may have strict registry, registrar or upstream renewal deadlines. You remain responsible for renewals even if reminders are not received, are filtered, are sent to an outdated email address, or are not acted on.

7.2 Term and Duration of Service

Fixed-Term Services: The applicable duration for standard subscription products and services shall be the specific term confirmed by us at the time of order acceptance, subject to earlier termination by us due to a material violation of these Terms, company policies, or applicable statutory laws and regulations, or the non-availability of relevant products, services, or infrastructure.

(i) Sovereign Lifetime Plans: For products designated as “Sovereign Lifetime” plans, the Service Term shall extend for the natural lifespan of the individual Purchaser.
(a) In the event that the Company permanently ceases operations, experiences an existential corporate dissolution, or undergoes an infrastructure failure beyond its reasonable commercial control that terminates the underlying availability of the relevant domain or infrastructure, the Service Term shall conclude.
(b) For purchases exceeding an initial consideration threshold of $20,000 USD, if the Company triggers a service cessation under Section 7.2(i) or any other provisions of this Agreement and or any of our other terms, policies and agreements, for reasons other than Purchaser default, a cash refund shall not be available. Instead, the Company covenants to configure and maintain a permanent, automated downstream email forwarding protocol. This protocol shall automatically redirect all inbound traffic intended for the Purchaser’s specific premium ID to an external target email address of the Purchaser’s choice, free of operational fees, for as long as the underlying top-level domain registry remains accessible and under the Company’s operational custody.

(ii) Legacy (“Forever”) Plans: For products explicitly designated as “Legacy” or “Forever” plans, purchased to ensure data preservation or service continuity following the Purchaser’s passing, the Service Term shall extend for as long as the Company actively operates the relevant infrastructure. The Company’s liability under Legacy Plans is strictly limited to maintaining active routing, automated forwarding, or static data storage as configured prior to the Purchaser’s passing, subject to the continuous availability of the underlying top-level domain registry and relevant infrastructure.

8. Fees, taxes, nonpayment and chargebacks

You must pay all fees, renewal charges, setup fees, migration fees, add-on fees, overage fees, registry fees, third-party licence fees, taxes, duties and government charges when due. Fees are exclusive of applicable taxes and similar charges unless expressly stated. You are responsible for any taxes, withholding, duties, exchange charges, bank charges, payment-network charges or government charges arising from your purchase, renewal or use of the services, except taxes based solely on Rocket Domains’ net income.

If any invoice, renewal, licence fee, pass-through charge or other amount is overdue, Rocket Domains may charge, to the fullest extent permitted by law, an overdue-payment administration surcharge of the greater of US$12 (or local currency equivalent) or ten percent (10%) of the unpaid invoice balance, plus interest, reasonable recovery costs, collection costs, legal costs, payment processor charges and any statutory late-payment compensation available for business-to-business debts. For consumers, any late-payment charge applies only where it is fair, proportionate, lawful and disclosed before the order is placed.

We may suspend, restrict, delete, transfer lock, downgrade or terminate services for nonpayment, failed payment, expired payment method, chargeback, suspected fraud, negative balance, tax noncompliance, payment dispute, excessive support cost, or refusal to update billing details. We are not liable for loss caused by suspension, non-renewal, domain expiry, data deletion, failed email delivery, website outage or licence cancellation arising from nonpayment or payment problems.

Unless expressly required by law or stated in a mandatory refund policy, fees for domain names, registry services, third-party licences, renewals, setup, migration, security, backups, SSL, SEO tools, premium names, application reviews, stewardship contributions, abuse remediation, lifetime and forever plan purchases, and consumed service periods are both non-transferrable and non-refundable.

Because many Rocket Domains services are digital, instantly provisioned, customised, registered, renewed, reserved, licensed, configured, allocated, consumed, or supplied through registry, registrar, licensing, cloud, security, backup, payment or other third-party systems, fees are generally non-refundable once an order is accepted, provisioning begins, a licence, domain, certificate, mailbox, hosting space, workspace, backup, security scan, application review, stewardship review, premium name, setup, migration or other resource is issued, reserved or allocated, or the service period starts. This includes, without limitation, domain registrations, renewals, transfers, registry services, third-party licences, hosting, email, workspace, security, backup, SEO, SSL, CDN, DNS, design, website, booking, migration, setup, application, stewardship, premium-name and consumed subscription fees. Nothing in this clause limits any refund, cancellation, repair, replacement, repeat-performance, price-reduction or statutory remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including non-excludable consumer rights where applicable.

Where the law requires a specific consent, acknowledgement or instruction before immediate supply of digital content or performance of services, you agree that Rocket Domains may request that consent or acknowledgement during checkout, renewal, upgrade, account activation, support approval or service configuration. If you ask us to begin supply immediately, you acknowledge that cancellation or refund rights may be reduced or lost to the extent permitted by law once supply, provisioning, registration, renewal, licensing, configuration, setup, migration, resource allocation or performance has begun.

9. Third-party and upstream services

Some services are provided, hosted, licensed, maintained, operated, fulfilled, secured, integrated or supported using Rocket Domains technology together with selected third-party infrastructure, software, registrars, registries, registry service providers, cloud, hosting, data centre, DNS, CDN, email, security, backup, app, analytics, payment, professional-service and support providers. Unless a third party is customer-facing, sold under its own brand, required to be identified by law or registry policy, or disclosed in the order flow, Rocket Domains may describe such providers by category rather than by name.

For white-labelled, backend, fulfilment and infrastructure services, customers contract with Rocket Domains unless the order expressly states otherwise. Rocket Domains may change backend providers, locations, routing, infrastructure, software, reseller platforms, registrars, support providers, processors and subprocessors from time to time to maintain, improve, secure, migrate, price, scale or lawfully provide the services. Such changes do not entitle you to a refund, damages or termination right except where mandatory law, a signed enterprise agreement or the DPA expressly provides otherwise.

Where Rocket Domains sells, resells, configures or supports a third-party-branded service, product or licence, the current terms, conditions, acceptable-use policies, data-processing terms, service descriptions, licence restrictions, support terms, product limits, suspension rules, refund rules, warranty disclaimers, liability limitations and security requirements of the relevant third-party provider also apply to your use of that component. Examples may include third-party-branded workspace, app-suite, backup, security, malware-protection, SEO, analytics, payment, domain, registry or cloud services where identified in the relevant product page, checkout, order, dashboard or support documentation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, those third-party protective and safeguarding terms are incorporated into your agreement with Rocket Domains as independent customer obligations owed to Rocket Domains and the Rocket Protected Parties. This means that any upstream restriction, disclaimer, suspension right, termination right, no-refund rule, security requirement, acceptable-use rule, indemnity trigger, limitation of liability, data-use permission, audit requirement or cooperation obligation that is necessary or helpful to protect the third-party service, Rocket Domains, or the Rocket Protected Parties may be enforced by Rocket Domains as if written in these Terms. This clause does not make Rocket Domains liable for the third-party provider’s acts or omissions and does not promise that a third-party provider can enforce these Terms unless a separate contract or the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 allows it.

If Rocket Domains terms and a third-party term both apply, you must comply with both. If they conflict, the term that is more specific to the affected service or more protective of Rocket Domains, the Rocket Protected Parties, the third-party provider, service security, service availability, legal compliance, registry compliance or other customers will apply to the fullest extent permitted by law, except that mandatory consumer, privacy, domain, registry or other non-excludable legal requirements will prevail.

Where a service requires disclosure of your data, domain data, technical data, payment data or customer content to an upstream provider, registry, registrar, cloud host, email processor, security provider, app provider, payment provider, support provider, professional adviser or other supplier, you authorise Rocket Domains to make that disclosure as reasonably necessary to provide, support, secure, bill, renew, migrate, investigate, enforce, report, comply with law or terminate the service.

If a registry, registrar, cloud provider, email provider, app provider, security provider, backup provider, CDN, payment processor, licensing partner, reseller partner, contractor, processor, subprocessor, affiliate, supplier or other third party asserts a claim, chargeback, penalty, fine, fee, suspension, remediation cost, indemnity demand, contribution claim, loss allocation, audit cost, abuse cost or other liability against Rocket Domains or another Rocket Protected Party because of your content, configuration, data, account activity, nonpayment, prohibited use, infringement, security failure, false details, customer dispute, end-user conduct or breach of these Terms, you will indemnify and hold harmless the Rocket Protected Parties for that claim and all resulting losses, costs and expenses.

10. Customer content and licence to operate services

You retain ownership of your content. To provide and operate the services, you grant Rocket Domains and the Rocket Protected Parties a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, cache, copy, route, transmit, display, scan, index, compress, format, backup, restore, migrate, process, secure, analyse, modify as instructed, and otherwise use customer content only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, support, improve, enforce, comply with law, and protect the services and other users.

You are solely responsible for customer content, websites, domain names, DNS records, emails, mailing lists, bookings, customer lists, files, databases, app configurations, generated content, SEO changes, redirects, scripts, forms, plugins, themes, uploaded files, embedded media, user-generated content, ecommerce listings, digital downloads, login areas, AI-assisted outputs, customer communications, and any goods or services you advertise, sell, supply or make available through the services.

You represent, warrant and undertake that you have all rights, licences, permissions, notices, consents, lawful bases and authority required for your content, domain names, marks, logos, designs, patents, copyright works, database rights, trade secrets, know-how, publicity rights, images, fonts, software, code, products, websites, communications, end-user data and business activities. You must not upload, host, store, transmit, publish, link to, make available, sell, offer, promote or process content that violates law; infringes or misappropriates intellectual property or other rights; breaches confidentiality; invades privacy; misleads users; contains malware; abuses networks; violates sanctions/export rules; violates the Acceptable Use Policy; or creates legal, security, operational, reputational, financial or supplier risk for Rocket Domains or any Rocket Protected Party.

You must maintain suitable procedures to prevent and address unauthorised uploads, unlawful content, compromised websites, malicious files, exposed storage, vulnerable plugins, insecure forms, open redirects, fake login pages, spam scripts, phishing kits, web shells, leaked credentials, abusive user-generated content and infringement by your users or visitors. You are responsible for acts and omissions occurring through your services, including where caused by hacking, account takeover or unauthorised access, except to the extent caused solely by Rocket Domains’ proven non-excludable liability.

Rocket Domains is a neutral technology, hosting, domain, email, workspace, registry, reseller, integration and support provider. Except where Rocket Domains expressly creates its own content, Rocket Domains does not originate, approve, endorse, monitor, pre-screen or control customer content, customer websites, customer domains, customer communications or customer products. No moderation, scanning, filtering, support action, takedown, suspension, restoration or investigation means that Rocket Domains has assumed editorial responsibility, verified legality, waived rights, accepted liability, or promised to detect all unlawful or harmful material.

11. Email, messaging and deliverability

Email and internet messaging are not guaranteed delivery systems. Messages may be delayed, blocked, filtered, bounced, quarantined, rejected, routed to spam, misdelivered, corrupted, deleted, rate-limited or refused by sending servers, receiving servers, spam filters, DNS records, blacklists, blocklists, authentication failures, user settings, third-party providers, network failures, content rules, law enforcement, customer configuration or abuse controls.

We may apply inbound and outbound spam filtering, virus scanning, rate limits, attachment limits, DNS authentication requirements, reputation monitoring, mailing restrictions and other controls. Filtering may block legitimate messages or allow unwanted messages. You are responsible for maintaining alternative communication channels for important communications and for complying with anti-spam, marketing, consent, opt-out, PECR, CAN-SPAM, CASL and other messaging laws.

12. No emergency, medical, life-safety or high-risk use

The services are general-purpose domain, hosting, email, workspace, website, booking, security, backup and business technology services. They are not designed, tested, certified, authorised or warranted for emergency communications, emergency service access, medical advice or treatment, life-support systems, safety-critical systems, hazardous environments, public warning systems, legally mandated emergency notice systems, air traffic control, nuclear facilities, weapons systems, critical infrastructure, or any use where failure, delay, non-delivery, misdelivery, loss of access, data loss, security incident or incorrect operation could reasonably be expected to result in death, personal injury, serious illness, environmental damage, property damage, loss of liberty, loss of legal rights or other serious harm.

You must not use, market, configure, resell or rely on the services as a substitute for emergency services, professional advice, medical advice, public alert systems, life-safety systems, legally mandated notice systems or safety-critical systems. You must maintain suitable alternative channels, backups, professional advice, emergency contact methods and contingency arrangements.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Rocket Protected Parties disclaim responsibility for prohibited high-risk use and you will indemnify them against claims arising from such use. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Support, migrations and professional assistance

Support, migration, setup, design, security, malware removal, SEO, DNS, email, hosting, workspace and configuration assistance are provided on a reasonable-efforts basis unless a signed order states otherwise. You remain responsible for reviewing instructions, maintaining backups, testing results, confirming accuracy, approving changes and ensuring your own legal, technical and business requirements are met.

If you provide credentials or authorise us or a third-party provider to access your website, DNS, hosting, email, workspace, booking portal, database, code, payment system, analytics or other environment, you authorise reasonable actions needed to perform the work. Such work may involve intrusive scans, changes to code, deletion of malware or suspected malware, changes to DNS or routing, plugin/theme updates, account resets, password changes, cache purges, firewall changes, data transfers or contact with third parties on your behalf. These actions carry risk, and you are responsible for maintaining backups and testing your site or service after work is performed.

14. Suspension, restriction and termination

We may immediately suspend, restrict, throttle, quarantine, lock, take down, disable, disconnect, transfer lock, refuse renewal, cancel, delete, migrate, or terminate any service, domain, account, mailbox, website, workspace, booking portal, DNS record, API key or content, with or without prior notice, if we reasonably believe that: (a) you breached these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, third-party terms, registry rules or law; (b) your account information is false, misleading, incomplete, unverifiable or not kept up to date; (c) payment is overdue, disputed, reversed, charged back, unauthorised or fraudulent; (d) the service is used or may be used for abuse, spam, phishing, malware, illegal content, infringement, domain abuse, security compromise, unauthorised access, unlawful scraping, high-risk use or other prohibited activity; (e) continued service creates legal, security, operational, reputational, supplier, registry, payment, data-protection or financial risk; (f) an upstream provider, registry, registrar, payment processor, court, regulator, law enforcement authority, trusted notifier or rightsholder requires or requests action; (g) your use harms or may harm Rocket Domains, the Rocket Protected Parties, other users, networks, recipients or the public; or (h) the service is discontinued, unsupported, deprecated or technically no longer viable.

Suspension or termination does not relieve you of fees owed, indemnity obligations, data protection duties, abuse remediation costs or other liabilities. Unless required by law, suspension or termination for breach, prohibited activity, nonpayment, false identity, security risk or upstream action does not entitle you to a refund or service credit.

After suspension, expiration, cancellation, non-renewal or termination, access to data may end immediately. Data, backups, emails, booking records, website files, databases, logs, DNS records, domain settings and content may be deleted, overwritten, purged, quarantined, locked, retained as evidence, transferred to an upstream provider, or made inaccessible according to retention schedules, technical limits, legal requirements, abuse investigations, upstream provider rules and payment status. Rocket Domains and the Rocket Protected Parties are not responsible for any data loss, erasure, non-recovery, inaccessibility, domain loss, email loss, search-ranking loss, business interruption or consequential loss arising from suspension, expiration, cancellation, non-renewal or termination for breach, prohibited activity, false identity, security risk, chargeback or nonpayment.

15. Service changes, discontinuance and dependencies

We may modify, update, replace, migrate, discontinue, rebrand, restrict, remove or add features, plans, services, infrastructure, suppliers, locations, pricing, storage limits, sending limits, security controls, domain rules and support channels. Where changes materially reduce a paid service during a current paid term, we will use reasonable efforts to provide notice or a commercially reasonable alternative where practicable.

Services depend on third-party networks, registries, registrars, cloud providers, operating systems, software vendors, DNS, browsers, search engines, AI assistants, email receivers, app stores, payment networks, internet service providers and other systems outside Rocket Domains’ control. We are not liable for failures, changes, outages, restrictions, ranking changes, policy changes, blacklisting, blocklisting, de-indexing, non-resolution, non-delivery or non-interoperability caused by those dependencies.

16. Warranties disclaimed

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the services, websites, software, domains, registry services, third-party services, support, migrations, backups, security tools, SEO tools, AI-assisted outputs, templates, documentation and beta features are provided “as is”, “as available” and “with all faults”.

The Rocket Protected Parties disclaim all warranties, conditions, representations and guarantees, express, implied, statutory or otherwise, including merchantability, satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, quiet enjoyment, uninterrupted service, error-free operation, secure operation, virus-free operation, data preservation, successful backup, successful restore, successful migration, compatibility, deliverability, search ranking, revenue, traffic, conversions, booking volume, security outcome, malware-free status, domain availability, domain value, universal resolution, voice assistant recognition, AI recognition or regulatory compliance.

No advice, recommendation, support communication, configuration, migration, security scan, SEO report, AI output, documentation, reseller statement or marketing material creates a warranty unless expressly stated in a signed written agreement by Rocket Domains.

You acknowledge that hosting, domain, email, DNS, cloud, workspace, security, backup, SEO, design, booking and internet services are inherently dependent on customer configuration, third-party networks, software updates, user behaviour, recipient systems, search engines, registries, browsers, DNS, payment processors, public internet routing, legal notices and security conditions. Rocket Domains does not guarantee uninterrupted access, permanent storage, universal compatibility, search placement, email delivery, domain availability, absence of vulnerabilities, absence of malware, legal compliance, non-infringement of customer content, or that any security, backup, malware, CDN, SEO, design or support service will prevent, detect, remediate or restore every issue.

17. Liability exclusions

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Rocket Protected Parties will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive or enhanced damages; loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, reputation, anticipated savings, business opportunity, contracts, customers, use or data; loss, compromise, corruption, deletion, disclosure, inaccessibility, unauthorised access, unauthorised alteration, unavailability, misdelivery or non-delivery of data, email, content, backups, domain records, DNS records, logs, analytics, customer records, booking records or website files; business interruption; cyberattack; malware; ransomware; phishing; spam; account takeover; credential misuse; unauthorised upload; unauthorised transaction; unauthorised domain transfer; failed or delayed security control; failed backup, restore, migration, scan, takedown or malware removal; search ranking loss; de-indexing; blacklisting; blocklisting; DNS failure; domain expiry; registry/registrar action; supplier failure; third-party service failure; payment failure; tax liability; regulatory action; legal or regulatory fine arising from your content or use; rightsholder claim; partner/provider claim; cost of substitute services; or loss arising from prohibited, illegal, improper, negligent, high-risk or unauthorised use, even if advised of the possibility.

These exclusions apply regardless of legal theory, including contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, misrepresentation, restitution, statute or otherwise, and regardless of whether a remedy fails of its essential purpose, subject always to non-excludable liability required by law.

18. Aggregate liability cap

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total aggregate liability of all Rocket Protected Parties collectively for all claims arising out of or relating to a service, order, account, domain, product, event or series of related events is limited to the fees actually received and retained by Rocket Domains from you for the affected service under the affected order during the six (6) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

The cap is aggregate, not per claim, per party, per theory, per user, per domain, per mailbox, per incident or per protected party. Payments for unrelated services do not increase the cap for the affected service. Taxes, pass-through registry fees, registrar fees, third-party licence fees, usage credits, refunds, discounts, chargebacks, payment reversals, setup costs paid to suppliers, and amounts not actually received or retained by Rocket Domains do not count toward the cap.

For free, bundled, trial, promotional, beta or no-fee services, the cap is zero (£0) to the fullest extent permitted by law; if that is not enforceable, the cap is the minimum amount required by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

19. Customer indemnity

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify and hold harmless the Rocket Protected Parties from and against all claims, demands, proceedings, investigations, complaints, notices, subpoenas, takedown demands, disputes, chargebacks, losses, liabilities, damages, fines, penalties, settlements, judgments, awards, costs and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, expert fees, investigation costs, abuse-response costs, remediation costs, restoration costs, provider charges and management time, arising from or relating to: (a) your use, misuse, illegal use, improper use, negligent use, prohibited use, high-risk use, resale or unauthorised use of the services; (b) your customer content, domains, websites, apps, email, data, code, files, bookings, products, services, marketing, communications, end users or website visitors; (c) breach of these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, product schedules, third-party terms, registry rules, privacy law, data protection law, intellectual property law, consumer law, advertising law, ecommerce law, export/sanctions law, tax law or other law; (d) infringement, misappropriation, passing off, defamation, privacy violation, confidentiality breach, unfair competition, false advertising, spam, phishing, malware, fraud, domain abuse, security compromise, unlawful processing, unlawful monitoring, unlawful scraping or unlawful content; (e) false identity, inaccurate registrant data, failure to verify, unauthorised payment, unauthorised domain transfer, lack of authority, fraudulent order, chargeback or nonpayment; (f) use of third-party services, integrations, plugins, themes, code, APIs, AI outputs, analytics, payment tools, external websites or customer-supplied software; (g) your failure to maintain backups, security controls, 2FA, strong passwords, patches, alternative communications, contingency plans, compliance records or rights-clearance records; (h) claims by your customers, end users, employees, contractors, visitors, regulators, payment processors, registries, registrars, rightsholders, law enforcement, upstream providers, reseller partners, affiliates, contractors, processors, subprocessors, suppliers or other third parties, including claims those parties make against Rocket Domains or another Rocket Protected Party; and (i) any act or omission by your administrators, users, resellers, agents, affiliates, contractors, staff, customers or anyone using or accessing your account, credentials, services, systems, domains, websites, mailboxes or content, whether authorised or unauthorised.

We may control or participate in the defence of any indemnified matter, select counsel, preserve or disclose evidence where legally appropriate, suspend affected services, notify affected providers, and settle where settlement does not impose an admission of fault on you without consent. You must cooperate, preserve evidence, provide access to relevant records, pay amounts when due, and must not settle any indemnified claim in a way that imposes obligations, admissions, restrictions or liability on a Rocket Protected Party without our written consent.

For consumers, this indemnity applies only to the extent permitted by mandatory consumer law and is intended to cover unlawful, abusive, prohibited, negligent or rights-infringing conduct, not to remove statutory rights.

20. Claims period

To the fullest extent permitted by law, any claim against a Rocket Protected Party must be brought within twelve (12) months after the event giving rise to the claim. Claims filed after that period are barred. This does not shorten any limitation period that cannot lawfully be shortened for consumers or under mandatory law.

21. Dispute escalation, mediation, arbitration and courts

Please contact legal(at)rocket.domains first so that we can try to resolve concerns quickly and sensibly. Before starting formal proceedings, each party will give the other a written notice describing the dispute, requested remedy and relevant facts. The parties will attempt good-faith negotiation for 30 days.

For business customers, if a dispute is not resolved by negotiation, the parties will attempt mediation in Birmingham, England, or remotely if agreed. Unless the mediator orders otherwise or applicable law requires otherwise, the customer initiating the dispute will pay the initial mediation filing/administrative fee, and each party will bear its own legal costs subject to any later costs order or agreement.

For business customers only, unresolved disputes may be referred to confidential arbitration seated in Birmingham, England, in English, before one arbitrator under the Arbitration Act 1996 and a recognised arbitration body or ad hoc rules selected by Rocket Domains acting reasonably. The customer initiating arbitration is responsible for initial filing and administrative costs, subject to the arbitrator’s power to reallocate costs. Rocket Domains may seek injunctive, interim, debt recovery, domain recovery, abuse-prevention or emergency relief in any court or forum with jurisdiction.

Consumers are not required to arbitrate where mandatory consumer law gives them access to courts or local remedies. Nothing in these Terms prevents either party from contacting a regulator, law enforcement authority, payment network, registry, registrar, ICANN, dispute-resolution provider or court where the law or registry rules allow or require it.

22. Governing law

These Terms and all non-contractual obligations arising from or relating to them are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Subject to any mandatory consumer rights and the arbitration/mediation provisions above, the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction, and the parties agree that proceedings may be brought in the courts sitting in or nearest to Birmingham, England. For consumers, this clause applies only to the extent permitted by applicable consumer law.

23. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms, the Privacy Policy, product schedules and other policies from time to time. Updated terms will be posted on our website or made available through the account portal, checkout or email. Changes may apply immediately where required by law, supplier terms, registry rules, security, abuse prevention, new features or urgent operational reasons. Other material changes will apply on renewal or after reasonable notice where practicable.

Continuing to use or renew services after updated terms apply means you accept the updated terms. If you do not accept a material change, your remedy is to stop using the affected service and cancel future renewals, subject to non-refundable fees and third-party obligations.

24. Miscellaneous

These Terms, the applicable order, product schedules, policies and incorporated third-party terms form the entire agreement for the services and supersede prior statements about the same services. If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, it will be interpreted to the maximum enforceable extent and the remaining provisions will remain in force.

You may not assign, transfer, resell or delegate your rights or obligations without our written consent, except where a domain transfer is permitted under applicable domain rules and all amounts are paid. We may assign or transfer these Terms or any service to an affiliate, successor, supplier, purchaser, restructuring entity or assignee.

No failure or delay in enforcing a right is a waiver. Headings are for convenience only. Provisions that by nature should survive termination will survive, including payment, indemnity, limitation of liability, privacy, data processing, dispute resolution, ownership, audit, compliance, confidentiality and enforcement provisions.
